About

Maison Mara is a concept store in Cape Town, South Africa owned and managed by Kelly Withey. Kelly grew up in Africa and moved to Paris to study fashion design when she discovered her passion lay in buying. After many trips back and forth between Cape Town and Paris, Maison Mara was born.

Maison Mara offers a selection of womenswear, accessories and cosmetics. The idea was to create an eclectic selection of ready to wear brands ranging from Petit Bateau cotton t-shirts to Proenza Schouler handbags just to name a couple of the varied range stocked in the store. Maison Mara is a space that represents everything Kelly wanted to bring with her from Paris, all her favorite brands but also candles from Costes and Lola James Harper, cool fashion Magazines like Purple, Pop, Spleen Factory and of course the best art books from Phaidon!
